TRESPASS CHARGE MADE. AN UNUSUAL CASE IN COURT. [B V TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CHRISTCHURCH/ Thursday. Because she refused to obey a summons to appear in the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon, it was necessary to arrest Phyllis Pratt, a young married woman, and take her to the Court to answer the unusual charge of wilfully trespassing on premises occupied by her husband, Charles Pratt, after she had been warned to leave. Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., was on the Rench. Mrs. Pratt, who pleaded not guilty, was represented by Mr. Sim and Mr. Inder appeared for Charles Pratt. Mr. Sim, after entering his plea, asked that the case should be stood down for a fortnight. Mr. Inder: The defendant lias been at her husband's office all day and refused to go away.
