BUS COMPANY'S PLANT.
OFFER TO CITY COUNCIL. VALUATION BY OFFICIALS. The offer made by tho Royal Motor Bui Company to sell its plant of 28 buses and two depots for £29,675 was the subject of a report presented by the Tramways Committee to the Auckland , City Council last evening. The committee stated tho acting-man-ager of tramways had been asked to take immediate steps to have the buses and property valued, the company to be asked to provide facilities for this to be done. The buses would be examined by the tramway department's mechanical engineer and by the manager of tile workshops, in connection with the coachwork. The reports of both officers would be checked by the tramways engineer, Mr. F, E. de Guerrier. The property would be valued by the city valuer, Mr. P. F. Notley. Mrs. M. Lorigan wrote offering for sale, under the Motor Omnibus Regulations, a motor-bus at present run by her between Pitt Street and Threo Lamps, Ponsonby. The matter was referred to the Tramways Committee.
