RIDER FATALLY INJURED.

THROWN FROM HIS HORSE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] DUNEDIN. Monday. Lionel Gordon Wright, married, aged 32 years, died in the hospital yesterday as a result of injuries received through being thrown from a horso at Roxburgh. An inquest was opened this afternoon. The evidence showed that the deceased went riding on Friday. The return of his riderless horse sent search parties out, and on Saturday he was found badly injured. He was brought to Dunedin and after an operation yesterday he died. The inquest was adjourned.
