SECTION TO BE CLEARED. fnY TELEGRAPH.—SPECIAL REPORTER. ] ROTORtTA, Monday. .Instructions to proceed with the immediate clearing of JJ drain ori the Hatiraki Plains, near Paeroa, have been issued by the Hon. K. S. Williams, Minister of Public Works. A punt is to be used for clearing tho drain of blackberry, and it is expected that when the work is completed the drain will quickly discharge the water that has accumulated in ils neighbourhood through tho recent rain.
