NIAGARA THIS MORNING. The Royal Mail steamer Niagara, which left Suva for Auckland early or. t' rid ay afternoon, is due at about 10 o clock this morning and will berth at Prince s Whan. She is expected to sail for Sydney at 5 o'clock to-morrow evening. NGAKUTA AT NOON TO-DAY. The Union Company lias received advice that the Island trader Ngakuta. which was originally expected to make port yesterday, will not arrive at Auckland until noon today. . She is bringing a cargo consisting mainly of fruit from Rarotonga and Eastern Pacific Islands. THE TONGARIRO. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's Steamer Tongariro, which left Auckland on "September 1 for England, via Panama, arrived at London on Friday. She will load cargo for New Zealand and is due to leave London on October 20 and to arrive in New Zealand about the end of November. STROMA UNDERGOING REPAIRS. As the stftamer Stroma, which is berthed at Kick's Wharf, is at present undergoing repairs, her departure from Auckland has been delayed until about Thursday. She was duo to leave for Westport to-doy to re~ pleniah bunkers before going to Nauru or Ocean Islands. Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane are the local agents. KAIWARRA FROM NEW PLYMOUTH. The Union Company's steamer Kaiwarra, which was originally scheduled to leave New Plymouth for Auckland on Friday morning in continuation of her voyage from Adelaide, and which was delayed by rain at Nov/ Plymouth, did not leave until noon yesterday. She should arrive about Tuesday, and after unloading her cargo for Auckland is to go to Wellington and Wanganui. WINGATUI ARRIVED. An uneventful trip across the Tasman was experienced by the Union Company's steamer Wingatui which arrived from Molbourne late on Saturday evening. She anchored in tho stream and berthed at Prince's Wharf yeaiorday morning. She has general cargo for discharge and after unloading tho Auckland consignment will go.to Wellington, Lyttolton, Du&din, Bluff, Oamaru and Timaru. For the hist, three days of her trip the Wingatui experienced heavy rains, and when entering the Hauraki Gulf met with a light haze. The Union Company's steamer Wainui, which has been undergoing overhaul at Prince's Wharf, is to resume running tomorrow and is scheduled to leavo for Tokomani Bay. Gisborne and Napier at 5 o'clock in the evening. CITY OF CANTON. The steamer City of Canton, which left New York for Auckland on September 28, cleared Panama on Friday.
