! AUCKLAND CLUB'S EVENTS. I Another programme of running and field events was decided under the auspices of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club 011 Saturday afternoon. The wet weather made the turf treacherous and the. field events were restricted to two. A feature of the results was the success of W. Stewart, sen., in winning both the discus throwing and shot-putting. He is the oldest i active member of tho club, but in spite of his 58 years is a Tegular competitor.
