TERMINATION C/F SEASON. J What may be regarded as an altogether f successful season was concluded by the f Auckland Athenian Club on Saturday ' evening, when there was a record atten- f dance of members and friends at the final gathering. The chairman, Mr. 1 Percy Free, presided. The hostesses were j Misses E. Anstis and D. Watlers. The programme presented was as follows: —Miss Bettina Edwards, solo dance; j Mr. Hugh Woods, song; Miss Audrey , Perry, recital; Mr. M. Ballance, song; Mr. J. F. Montague, assisted by a company of amateur artists, sketch; Miss. Myra Monk, song; Miss Mona Wallbank, recital; Mr. Walter B rough, song; Mr. S. Pritchard, song; Professor Maxwell , Walker, recital; the Masked Trio, musi- < cal numbers at the piano. The items 1 were interspersed with dancing, and dtir- , ing tho evening supper was served. It was announced that a fancy di'ess ball would be held as an after-season fixture this week.
