CAPSIZE OF TRACTOR.

FATAL INJURIES TO DRIVER. EVIDENCE AT THE INQUEST. An inquest concerning the death of Allan Bloomfield, who died in the Auckland Hospital on September 27 as a result of injuries received through the overturning of a tractor which he was driving at Maramarua, was held before the coroner, Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., yesterday. Dr. A. R. Sturtevant said deceased was admitted to the hospital at, about 9 p.m. suffering from a fractured skull, fractured ribs, and otliep injuries. Ho died about half an hour later. Archibald Fotheringham said bo was engageel in the erection of electric power lines, and the wires were being pulled out by the tractor driven by deceased. On . coming to a small swamp deceased unhooked, the wire to go round to the opposite side, and after travelling about 200 1 yards the tractor capsized. The spot where tho accident happened was in a > grassed paddock, which had once been ploughed, and the ground was fairly levol. The onlv "reason witness could suggest for tho capsizing of the tractor was that deceased might have turned too suddenly. When examined later the tractor was in good order. The coroner returned a verdict that deceased died from injuries received through the accidental overturning of a tractor, which he was driving in tho course of his employment.
