DEATH BY SHOOTING.
FATE OF MOTOR-DRIVER. [BY TELEGRAPH.- —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] DUNEDIN, Thursday. The inquest concerning tho death of Robert Ferguson, a motor-driver, 32 years of ago, who was found dead yesterday morning with a bullet woii'nd in his chin, was held this morning,'before Mr. J. R. Bartholomew, S.M. Stanley Wilson, a fellow boarder of tho deceased, said he last saw him alive between 6 and 6.30 p.m. on Monday. Ho detailed the circumstances of the finding of deceased. The rifle used belonged to witness' brother.
After hearing further evidence the coroner returned a verdict to the effect that deceased committed suicide by shooting himself.
