CAR AND CYCLE COLLIDE.
ACCIDENT AT WAIHI. [by telegraph.—own CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI. Thursday. A collision between a motor-car and a motor-cycle occurred about nine o'clock last evening at the intersection of Kenny and Haszard Streets. The car, in which Mr. M. E. Heywood, of Auckland, was instructing Mr. N. Cowan to drive, was proceeding down Haszai'd Street and the cycle, ridden by Mr. J. Lee, was coming along Kenny Street. The cycle was damaged, but the rider fortunately escaped with cuts and abrasions. Mr. Lee received medical attention, but his injuries are not considered serious.
