WOMAN SEVERELY BURNED.
CLOTHES IGNITED AT RANGE. HER CONDITION PRECARIOUS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] EKETAHTFNA, Thursday. A young woman, Alice Sykes, was leaning over the range in her home at, Rongomai, yesterday afternoon, when her clothes caught fire. She rushed outside to get her father's help, but before he could. do anything effective she was severely burned, and is now in the Pahiatua Hospital in a precarious condition.
