CHEAP FARES FOR WOOL SALES
Sir, —In one of your recent issues 1 read that the Railway Department iD tends to charge excursion fares for a period covering the Royal Show. The period is to end on November 25. I think it would be appreciated by the farmers ( and be. of benefit 4o the railway if the period was extended for three days to include the Auckland wool sales on No vembeir 26 and 27. Not knowing what authorities to approach with my suggestion I am writing to you, hoping that you will give the matter due publicity. Subscriber.
