NIGHT TRAIN SERVICE.

WHANGAREI AND AUCKLAND. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHANGAREI, Wednesday. Nothing definite has been done, but there is reason to believe that an effort in that direction would be well received, even if it meant only a car service to catch a train at Maungaturoto. It has been decided to press the matter at the next meeting of the chamber, and it is believed there arc reasonable prospects of success.
