Hauraki Minea Consolidated.—The drive on tho Hauraki North reef has been advanced 13ft, for the week, making the -total distance driven 50ft. Tho reef is a compact body of stono 12in. wide, showing good mineral indications. The country encasing tho reef is of the best description. Kuranui.—The drive east on Ross Reef from the lower level crosHcut has been tended 6ft,, making a total of 129 ft. The reef averages Gin. wide, but is mixed with mullock. Tho country is of a splendid class and the reef should improve at any time, as we are now under where cold was seen in the level above. About .10 to -loft, of driving should cut the junction with tho Ross Reef and cro»3 leader. The drive oast on Barry's Reef from tho lower level crosscut ia "in 25ft. The reef averages loin, wide and still carries nice mineral and flint. The country is of ritfirm, blue nature, interlaced with quartz stringers and mineral veins. The wm7.o on Barry's Reel from tho lower level crosscut is down 4ft. The reef averages 12in. wide and is heavily mineralised and looks well for making gold.
