ALBERT STREET SCHEME.
RECONSIDERATION URGED.
The decision of tho City Council to abandon tho proposal for the extension of Albert Street, to provide a new traffic outlet, has been keenly discussed in the city, the general opinion being that greater consideration should have been given to the matter. This view having bee.n represented to the council informally, arrangements have been made for the Works Committee to receive a deputation today ,on tho subject.
