acceptance: of a tender
The building of tho new St. David's Presbyterian Church in Khyber Pass Bond will shortly be commenced. At a meeting of the congregation on Wednesday evening it, was decided to authorise the board of managers to accept the tender of Mr.. C. Ravenliall at £16,000 for erection of the church. Authority was also given to remove tho present building to a site adjoining and to fit it up as a Sunday School. The new church, which is to be of Gothic structure of the perpendicular , period, provides accommodation for tiie seating of 560 people, with a gallery to seat an additional 100 or 150.
