NEW ZEALANDER HONOURED.
[BY TELEGRAM. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] -v WELLINGTON. Thursday. The Governor-General has notified Mr. W. B. Fisher, hon. secretary of the Dominion executive of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, that the King has sanctioned his appointment as a" Knight of Grace of the Venerable Order of St. John of Jerusalem within the British Realm. Tho honour has been bestowed on Mr. Fisher for gratuitous Red Cross work in London. Mr. Fisher is the eighth Now Zealander to receive the honour, others including Sir James Mills, Sir E. Mitchelson ami Dr. Will.
