In the women's Olympiad at Gothenburg, Sweden, the 250 metres flat race was won by Miss E. Edwards (England) in 33.45., which is a world's record. . The event resulted as followsSunderland (Victoria), 1; Osborne (Victoria), 2; Wyatt (South Australia), 3. Time, 55m. 6 3-ss. Sunderland won by 140 yds. Wyatt was 20yds. behind Osborne. Morse (Victoria) finished second, but he was disqualified for "lifting;" in the last lap. Victoria won the teams race, with South Australia second.
