MAROKOPA UNDERTAKING. GRADING SHOWS IMPROVEMENT. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TE KtrtTl; Saturday. The report presented at the annual meeting of the Marokopa Co-operative Dairy Company showed that good average returns for the output had been secured. The company had made 71 tons of butter, the sale of which had realised £10,628. Advance payments had been made that compared very favourably with companies of a . similar output. 'These payments averaged 14.98 d. The first bonus on last season's output was ready for immediate distribution. The final bonus would be paid when the returns * were completed. The- grading had again shown 1 improvement over previous years, a largo percentage of the butter being superfine. The grades averaged for the season 91.57 points, and up to the end of March points, the latter being superfine. The chairman,' Mr. B. Mills, said the directors proposed to make no deduction for share capital for the coming season. In order to offer every inducement to, suppliers to adopt methodical herd testing, it was proposed to make herd testing freg to all suppliers. The directors were confident that this would be amply repaid by the increased yields. Two vacancies occurring by rotation were filled by the re-election of Messrs. E. Phillips and R. Haylock. Mr. L. C. Hartori, of Te" Kuiti, was reappointed auditor.
