COLLEGE OF SURGEONS.
DISCUSSION IN SYDNEY. * BENEFACTIONS AWAITED. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY. Aug. 27. The delegates .to the Medical Convention to-day continued the discussion of the question of establishing a College of Surgeons for Australia and New Zealand. The site of the permanent building for the college will not be selected until benefactions have reinforced the funds available. At first the college will operate in Victoria and its permanent headquarters will be established later at Canberra. Drs. Gordon Craig, of Sydney, and W. E. Herbert, of Wellington, are acting as New Zealand's representatives on the convention. Sir George Syme, Victoria, will probably be the first president of the college.
