THREE VESSELS LOST.
FORTY-SEVEN MEN DROWNED. STORM OFF NOVA SCOTIA. (Received 9.5 p.m.) Router. HALIFAX. Aug. 2G. A message which has been received from Sable Island, Nova Scotia, says the captain of a Government cruiser has confirmed the loss of the fishing schooner Sadie Knickle, with her crew of 22 men, in a storm which occurred a fortnight ago. Two other vessels were 'wrecked at the same time. The total number of lives lost was 47.
