DEATH OF A BABY.
CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER. YOUNG GIRL IN COURT. A girl, aged 18, after being discharged from the Auckland Hospital yesterday morning, appeared in tltf Police Court to answer charges of the manslaughter of her newly-born child and concealment of birth. The magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, ordered accused's name to be suppressed in the meantime and remanded her until next Friday, when the charges will be heard in conjunction with the inquest on the death pf the child.
