LIGHTING THE AIRWAYS.
AN AMERICAN SCHEME. WASHINGTON, Aug. IS. The Aviation Secretary of the American Department, of Commerce is planning lighting facilities for 1000 miles of commercial airways. He later expects to extend the system to the wholo 7000 miles of airways in operation in the United JBtates.
