TRAGEDY OF THE AIR.
TWO AVIATORS LO3"S. PLUNGE IN A LAKE. CHICAGO. Aug. IS. Attempting a spin at too low an altitude, Naval Flying-Instructor Hammar and his pupil, Ensign Stone, fell 300 ft. and plunged to their death close to the shore of Lake Michigan. Two seamen swam to the scene in a vain attempt tc. rescue the aviators.
