MYSTERY OF MURDER.
AN ANONYMOUS LETTER. SEARCH FOR THE WRITER, LONDON, Aug. 18. Unless the writer of an anonymous letter to Scotland Yard on the subject of the murder of Edward Creed, the London store manager, whose body was found in a cellar, comes forward by noon to-morrow, a facsimile of the letter will be published in the newspapers with a view to identification. The coroner had a long conference with detectives, and adjourned the inquest after appealing to the writer to reveal, his identity in the interests of justice. The writer was guaranteed ample protection if he was afraid.
