SUBMARINES FOR RUSSIA.
EIGHT FROM GERMANY. CHARGE,BEING INVESTIGATED VERSAILLES TREATY INVOLVED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received 8.55 p.m.) Sun. LONDON. Aug. 25. The Paris correspondent of the Daily Mail says it is reported that allegations that Germany has secretly supplied Russia with eight submarines, in violation of the Treaty of Versailles, are being investigated by the British and French Admiralties. It is reported that these submarines have - a cruising radius of 8000 miles. Germany had. undertaken to scrap them. Another report is that Germany is sending workmen to build other submarines in Soviet dockyards.,
