MUSSOLINI'S RULE.
LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT. PROPOSAL TO ABOLISH. (Received 12.5 a.m.) Bun, LONDON. Aug. 26. The Rome correspondent of the Daily Mail says the Italian Cabinet is considering the abolition of local Belf-governmiint. Government appointees would, in that case, administer all the municipalities. A curious aspect of the matter if this law were made would be that women who have just been granted the right to vote at municipal elections would be deprived of that right without ever having exercised it.
