PINNED BENEATH CAR.
DEATH OF YOUNG WOMAN. [»Y TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TE AROQA. Thursday A young woman, Miss B. Monaghan, died at an early hour this morning as the result of injuries received through being pinned beneath an overturned motor-car on Sunday afternoon. Miss Monaghan was motoring with a companion from Te Aroha to Shaftsbury, when two horse, galloped across in front of the car. In an endeavour to avoid a collision th* car was turned sharply, with the result that it overturned. Miss Monaghan wao pinned beneath the vehicle, but he* companion was thrown clear.
