COALDUST EXPLOSION
TWO WORKMEN BURNED. [BY TELEGRAPH OWN COEKESPONDENT.] WHANGAREI, Thursday. As the result of an explosion in a roil] in which powdered coal is used in the manufacture of cement at Portland, Mr. Fred Hiscock, aged 42, and Mr. Peter Colquhon, aged 44, were badly burned on their faces and arms. Poth were conveyed to the Whangarei Hospital.
