TO-MORROW'S FIXTURES. TUKAPA CLUB TEAM'S VISIT. THE MATCH WITH MARIST. The Tukapa Club team, which won the Taranaki Northern Division Rugby competition, will play the Marist Club, leaders in the Pollard Cup competition, at Eden Park to-morrow afternoon. > Although some of its best players arc on tour with the Auckland representative team Marist will field a strong team expected to fully test the visitors. Tukapa showed up very favourably in the Taranaki competition and has only to reproduce home form make to-morrow's contest veil worth seeing. The curtain-raiser will be the final of the primary schools tournament. The fifth series of Pollard Cup matches should provide good football. At Eden Park. Suburbs will play Ponsonby and College Rifles will play University Ihe Grafton v. Manukau match will be played at Onehunga, North Shore and rammar will meet at Devonport and tho __ Ellerslie ground will be the scene of the Newton v. Ellerslie contest. The annual country week tournament for primary schools' representative teams of the Auckland province was continued at Eden Park yesterday in fine weather. All the four games were well contested and in three cases comfortable victories were scored. The results are:— Thames Valley, 13, beat King Country. 0. South Auckland, 6, beat Auckland Central, 0. Auckland North, 11, beat Whangarei, 3. Auckland South, 16, beat Hamilton, 3. Auckland South will meet Whangarei at 10 o'clock this morning to decide the final in B group. Tho winning team will play Thames Valley at Eden Park, commencing at 3.30 p.m.. to decide tho final for the Northern Roller Mills Shield. . The Tukapa Rugby team, which will viait Auckland to play Marist seniors on (Saturday, won the club championship of the Taranaki Province to-day, by defeating Okaiawa, winners of the southern division, by 15 points (five tries) to 6 (two penalty goaiß). At a meeting of the Piako Rugby Union a communication was received from the Thames Valley Union alleging misconduct on the part of several members of the Piako junior representative team on tho occasion of its visit to Paeroa. It was stated that some damage waa done at the Paeroa Hotel, where the team was being entertained, and that considerable annoyance was caußed to the other occupants. The Piako Union decided that unless tho players concerned came forward the whole team would be suspended for the remainder of the season. THE RUAPEHU SUB-UNION. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] RAETIHI, Thursday. At a meeting of the liuapehu Rugby Subunion the following transfers were made:—T. Edwards and E. Foster, both of the 'Ohakune Club, to Junction; and J. Keogh, of Ohakune, to United. In- compliance with the rules the Senior Ohakune Club team were disqualified from further contest for the Raetihi Shield oil account of two consecutive defaults. AMATEUR ATHLETICS. CROSS-COUNTRY CONTEST. PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP. The five-miles cross-country championship of Auckland will be held at Alexandra Park, Epsom, to-morrow, commencing at 2.30. Permission has been granted for the use of the park by the Auckland Trotting Club for the race, which will be controlled by the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club on behalf of the Auckland Centre. In order to make the event more attractive there will be a sealed handicap. Several handicaps will be decided during the afternoon, including a sprint race over 75yds.
