TRADE WITH BRITAIN.
AMERICA'S TARIFF BARRIER.
DAIRY COMPANY'S ATTITUDE.
[by TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.]
HAMILTON, Wednesday
A largely-attended meeting of suppliers of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, passed the' following resolution to-day"That this meeting of representative dairymen of the Waikato strongly resents the attitude of America in shutting out our products by a prohibitive tariff, which prevents us paying for our purchases therefrom in goods, and we therefore urge that New Zealanders should purchase as little as possible from America until it is possible to pay for such purchases with our primary products; further, we urge that every effort be made to buy from Britain, who takes all our products without any.restriction."
