RELIEF FUNDS DIMINISHING. APPEAL TO PRIME MINISTER. [BY TELEGRAPH.-—PRESS ASSOCIATION.J DUXEDIN. Wednesday, : With funds running low and 245 men still workless, the Citizens' Unemployment Committee : is in a quandary. At a meeting this morning it was decided to request the Dunedin members of Parliament to approach the Prmei Minister stating that the city was carrying 343 men on relief works who were on the eve of discharge and that Government work should be provided to absorb some of them.
