PROPOSED MARINERS' CLUB.
The formation ofj a social club for masters and officers in the mercantile marine is to be considefed at a meeting in the Merchant Service Guild rooms next Monday afternoon. The meeting has been convened by Captain Charles West, who has been' appointed organising secretary. Coastal, overseas and inter-colonial mariners are eligible for membership.
