INTER-HOUSE COMPETITION. The third round games in connection with the inter-house Association football competition were played yesterday. Following are the results:—Milne and Choyce, 6. beat Abel's, 0; Power Board and Farmers' Union, drew. 2 all; Winstone's, (5, beat Tonson Gar!ink's, 0. TRAMWAYMEN'S MATCH. The annual match for the Mbrgan Banner was played yesterday between ■ teams representing the Epsom and- Ponsonby tramway depots. Epsom won by 4 goals to 2 after a splendid game. Ponsonby had held the trophy for.the past two years. , PRIMARY SCHOOLS GAME. AUCKLAND DEFEAT HIJNTLY. The Association football eleven representing the Auckland primary schools played a match against the Huntly schools at Huntly yesterday and after a good game won by 4 goals to 2. The'team work of the Auckland 'boys was excellent.• and proved the deciding factor in the match. The visitors attacked early in the game and after Clea.l, Huntly's goalkeeper, had frustrated several good movements, McGlusky scored. .Huntly equalised soon afterwards and the scores were even at half-time. 'Auckland dominated play in the second spell and McGlusky scored twice and Pennyccok once. Huntly added one goal and the game ended with Auckland the victors, 4—2.

South Auckland defeated Manawatu by 9 goals to 1. Auckland met Wellington under unfavourable weather conditions, which gave the local boys no chance against their heavy opponents. Auckland won by 4 goals to 0. To-day's fixtures resulted in Wellington, defeating Manawatu by 11 goals to 2, and Auckland defeating Huntly. by 4 goals to 2. The points for the Webster Shield are:—-Auckland, 4; Huntly, 2; Wellington, 2; Manawatu, 0.
