" I believe," he added, "that even now when tbe coal strike is settled, which, is likely to be very soon, the general industrial condition of the United Kingdom and the general labour conditions will be infinitely improved, and I think an added impetus will be given to business enterprise, which is simply being held in check at .present. The. financial credit of England Ms sou'nd, both on the 'English Exchange and on the Continent."
