There is still very little doing at Alexandra Park owing to the track conditions being unfavourable. A few fine days will make a deal of difference and matters will commence to liven up. The Auckland Trotting Club's Spring Meeting is only about seven weeks away now. The trotter Colonel Thorpe i 3 now being trained by hia owners and is carrying an improved appearance. Black Lila, Charming Pronto, and Direct Action looking healthy.
