Mr. G. Tutt left for Sydney yesterday by the Maheno. 4 Mr. and Mrs. D. Twohill, of Thames are at the Royal Hotel. ' Sir Frederick Chapman left by train for Wellington last evening. Mr. and Mrs, R. K. Taylor, of Wellington, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. S. C. Carter, of Wellington, .are at the Central Hotel. Dr. and Mrs. A. W. Beveridge, of Hamilton, are at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Middleton, of Christchurch, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. W. Perry, Mr. W. G. McDonald and Mr. D. E. Wilkie, of Wellington, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. R. H. Finlayson, of Whangarei, Mr. W. J. Sullivan, of Whakatane, and Mr, H. H. Bennett, of Putaruru, are at the Royal Hotel. Mr. A. M. Seaman, vice-president of the New Zealand Society of Accountants, left last evening for Christchurch to attend the annual meeting of the society.' Bishop L. S. Kempthorne, Bishop of Polynesia, arrived at Auckland by H.M.S. Diomede yesterday after visiting various settlements in his territory. Ha will stay in Auckland for some weeks. Mr. D. 0. Haskell, of Napier, Mr. W. Johnstone, of Te Kuiti, Mr. M. Wells, of Cambridge, Mr. B. Porch, of Rotorua, and Mr. R. L. Somers, of To Aroha, are at the Central Hotel. Lieutenant-Commander F. Lumb, intelligence officer to the New Zealand Naval Division, returned by H.M.S. Diomede yesterday after visiting the Pacific islands. He is to proceed to Wellington. Dr. M. Earle, of Wanganui, Mr. A, Dickson, of Christchurch, Mr. J. W. Hayes, of Waimato, Mr. J. H. Hay, of Wellington, Mr. R. G. Hosking, of Whangarei, and Mr. G. W. Hyde, Of Hamilton, are at the Star Hotel.
