The. curator of the museum, Mr. Gilbert Archey, reported that 47 gifts had been received since the last meeting. They included a largo collection of New Zealand shells, the gift of Mr. H. Wood; three large specimens of tree gum, Mr. W, George; 64,5t0n0 adzes, clubs, grinders and other implements of the Australian aboriginals, Mr. Ernest G. Austin, of Skipton, Victoria; collection of moa foot, prints and Maori articles (previously,.den posited in the museum), Mr. J. Gilberdi suit of Gilbert Island , armour, Mrs. 0.; H. Cotton; set of Irish bagpipes .(Crom. welji&n.,times), Mr. W. Goodselli waki kereru (old pigeon's trough), Mr. Camp* bell; an interesting adze showing three processes of manufacture (flaking, packing and polishing),. Mr. E. Carnaby; two tiga (javelin heads used in a game called iilitoa), a very fine greenstone flax scrape? and an old. carved stone fire bowl,. Mr, Hv E. Vaile. >v: v; : ' v.; *
