ENFORCING PROHIBITION.
AGREEMENT WITH BRITAIN. AMERICAN OFFICIAL PLEASED. (Received 7.5 p.m.) Reuter. NEW YORK. Aug. 11. General L. C. Andrews, head of the prohibition enforcement unit, has returned from England. ■ He expresses great satisfaction at the agreement which has been concluded with the British Government with the object of regulating the smuggling of liquor into America from British possessions.
