BELATED HONOUR.
IRISH POET'S GRAVE. CELTIC CROSS ERECTED. LONDON. Aug. 2. A Celtic cross has be<*n unveiled over the grave of tho Irish poot, William Maginn, at Walton-on-Thames, which was not marked for 84 years. The poet was thte original of the character, Captain Shandon, in Thackeray's " Pendcnnis."
