At a meeting of the New South Wales Golf Council the invitation to Australian golfers to take part in the championship and handicap meetings at Miramar (Wellington) and Wanganui was considered., It was stated that whether a representative Australian or New South Wales team were available or not a party was being formed for the purpose of making the trip and of thus inaugurating regular visits between the golfers of New Zealand aDd Australia.
