STUDY ! N UNITED STATES. DELEGATION FROM AUSTRALIA. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. E. 5 p.m.) WASHINGTON. Aug. 11. The United States Secretary of Commerce, Mr. 11. C. Hoover, and the president of the American Federation of Labour, Mr. William Green, expresses satisfaction at the intention of the Prime Minister of Australia, Mr. S. M. Bruce, to send a delegation to the United States to study American industrial methods. Mr. Hoover informed a representative of the Australian Press Association that the facilities of his department would be placed fully at the disposal of the officials of the Australian party. Mr. Green said: " Since the delegation is an official one, some of the members of which will represent the bona-fide Labour movement in Australia, .we shall be glad to extend every aid to help them in their investigation. " Wo shall give them every opportunity to learn the policies of the American Federation of Labour and to examine its records and accomplishments."
