The Kwnona, which left Portlnnd yesterday morning, arrived early last evening and berthed at King's Wharf, The Rona left, for Sydney laet night. She will later return to Auokland with ahother cargo of raw sugar from the Islands. The Government steamer Hinemoa is to move from Central Wharf to King's Wharf this morning to continue her overhaul. Messrs. C. R. Pain and Company advise that the steamer Wetere will leave Onehunga for Waitara at 2 o'clock this afternoon. The Kainpoi' left Westport at 11.30 yesterday morning for Auckland. The Kaimanawa loaded at, Westport yesterday for Gisborne and Auckland. THE ATHENIC. The Shaw, Saviil. liner Athenic is expected to leave to-morrow for Napier, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington to complete loading for London and Southampton. She ia scheduled to leave New Zealand on August 23. TREBARTHA'S .UNLOADING. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the A. and A. Line's chartered steamer Trebartha, which arrived from New York on Wednesday, should complete discharge of the Auckland portion of her cargo to-morrow. She is to sail for Wellington. Lyttelton. Dunedin, New Plymouth and Wanganui on Sunday morning to complete discharge. NORTHERN COMPANY'S SERVICES. The Northern Company advises that owing to the Daphne being delayed at Tairna by rough weather, she la not expected to reach Auckland until early this morning. She ia to leave for Great Barrier at 7 o'clock this morning and will arrive back about midnight. The auxiliary scows Otimai and Mota left yesterday for Opotiki and Whakatane reepectively. They are due back from these porta on Monday. NGAKUTA'S ITINERARY. A wireless message from the master ; of the Island steamer Ngakuta states that he expects to arrive from Cook Islands on Sunday. After 'discharge here the vessol will proceed to Wellington to put out the balance of her fruit cargo. The Union Company advises that the,, vessel is to leave Auckland on August 2(5 for "Rarotonsa, Mauke, Atiu and Aitutaki. As the orange season is now drawing to a close it is possible that the vessel's trip to the Islands from Auckland on September 23 will be the final one of the season. KAITOKE FROM NEWCASTLE. The Union Company's ste.amer Kaitoke. which- airived from Newcastle on Wednesday evening, berthed at Western Wharf yesterday morning to commence discharge of coal. On her recent voy*gu the vessel left Timaru for Sydney. Newcastle and Port Stephens and the cargo was completed at Newcastle, which was cleared on August 5. Fine weather was experienced until last Sunday, when strong northerly winds and rough" seas were met with. Conditions improved the following day and remained fine until .port' was reached. After discharge of coal the vessel will move to King's Wharf <fa Tuesday to unload a Quantity of timber.

THE WAIPORI. An expected arrival from Walpole Island this evening is the Union Company's steamer Waipori with a cargo of guano. After discharge hero she ia to proceed to Dunedin. MAHENO FROM SYDNEY. The Maheno is to leave Sydney for Auckland this morning and is due here on Tuesday morning with passengers, mails and cargo. VESSELS AT LONDON. A cablegram from London announces the arrival on Wednesday of the R'uopehu and Mahana, both from Wellington. The Mal.ana left on July 1 and the Ruapehu on July 3. PHOSPHATE FROM NAURU. Carrying a cargo of phosphate from Nauru Island the chartered steamer Knockfierna is expected at Auckland about Sunday. She will discharge at King's Wharf to the agency of Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlnne, ULTMAROA SAILING TO-DAY. The Huddart-Farker inter-colonial sleamer Ulimaroa is scheduled to leave for Sydney at 11 o'clock this morning with passengers, mail and cargo. She is berthed at Central Wharf. The vessel is due at her destination on Tuesday morning, and will leave for Wellington the following Friday. THE NIAGARA. The Royal Mail liner Niagara ia due at Suva at 6 o'clock this morning, and will leave for Auckland at noon to-day in continuation of her voyage from Vancouver, via Honolulu. She is due here about noon on Monday, and will leave for Sydney at 11 o'clock the same night. VESSELS FOR NEWCASTLE. The Union Company's collier Whangape whs docked yesterday afternoon for cleaning and painting. She will be floated out this afternoon and will sail for Newcastle to load coal for New Zealand. The Waikawa is to sail for Newcastle at noon, to-day to load coal. ROTORUA DUE DAYBREAK. To complete discharge of her London cargo and to commence homeward loading, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rotorua is duo from Wellington at an early hour this morning. She will berth at Queen's Wharf. HERTFORD DUE TO-DAY. The Federal Line steamer Hertford left Gisborne at 11.80 yesterday morning and is expected here about noon to-day to complete loading for New York, Boston, Glasgow, Liverpool, London and Avonmouth. She will berth at Central Wharf. lONIC FROM SOUTHAMPTON. An expected departure from Southampton to-day for Wellington is the Shaw, Savill steamer lonic. She is due at her dest.inart.ion on September 20, and at Auckland about a week later to complete dischargo of cargo. THE KURNALPI. The small steamer Kurnalpi yesterday completed discharge of cargo from Southern ports at Devonport. The vessel's future movements are uncertain, and it is expected she will remain at Devonport for some time. THE TOFUA. The Tofua was undocked yesterday morning, after undergoing cleaning and painting, and berthed at Queen's Whnrf.
