Tho simplo twist of a dial ov two of a receiving set a night or two ,iyo far down in the depths of one of the ivofld-famous Jenolan Caves in tho Blue Mountains and thero rang out in the stilly tiilence of, tho< giant cavern tho voice of a lady vocalist! away in Brisbane. She had been broadcasted from station 4QG. The after travelling 603 miles over tho ether, had found its way through the great masses of rock from which nature has fashioned theso wondeYful caves. This was not all. The words and music were transmitted from the depth of the caves to one of tho big broadcasting stations in tha city and there rebroadcasted for listimers-io all over Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. The Queensland lady's voice did a remarkable joufpey that night. Originating in Brisbane it was sent by ;iir to the interior of the caves, transmitted by land line to the city, thence sent out far anij wide, and, picked up on a receiving set, was brought back into the manager's office at the caves house. From Sydney alone it is a day's journey by train arid motof. for visitors to Jenolan Caves.
