UNEMPLOYMENT POSITION.
THE AUCKLAND FIGURES. Many applications for work are still being received at the men's and women's unemployment bureau at Auckland. The number on the A class men's roll yesterday was 507, and on the B class roll 136, Eighteen were placed in employment on Wednesday. Nineteen new applications for employment have been received at the women's bureau this week. Twelve of these are domestics. Up to yesterday pqsitions had been found for 13 women.
