TROUT-FISHING LICENSES.

HIGHER FEE FOR VISITORS. -A suggestion that the fee for troutfishing by anglets from outside New Zealaind should be increased to £5 was made at a meeting of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society this week. Discussion disclosed the fact that holiday and tourist' anglers, who were able to fish for weeks, paid only £l, the same as the person able to fish only occasionally. Ope member said that most overseas anglers were surprised that New Zealand allowed them to fish at such a low cost. Another member remarked' that in America the charge would be £2O.
