REMUERA RATEPAYERS.
NEW ASSOCIATION FORMED. The formation of the Remuera East Ratepayers' Association was decided upon at a meeting on Thursday evening. It was decided to instruct the committee to make efforts to have the Remuera Road concreted right up to the city boundary when the work of concreting up to" the tram terminus was finished. It was also decided to make representations for the extension of the tram service to the city boundary. The meeting decided to see what could be done toward making the Waiatarua LakePark into a good sports ground in the near future. » The election of officers resulted: Chairman. Mr. W, Skegg; vico-president, Mr. H. E. Jones; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. G. Rose; committee, Messrs. R. G. Slyfield, D. Lnndon, R. J. King, P. D. Wright, T. R, Turnbull, L. Townley and G. R. Hutchinson, jnr.
