Mr. R. H. Baldwin, of Vancouver is at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Dunkin, of Los Angeles, California, are at tho Grand Hotel. Sir Frederick Chapman was a passenger for the South by the limited express last evening. Mr. A. Polkinghorne, Mr. A. S. Houston and Mr. W. J. A. Foster, of Wellington, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. E. C. Huie, of Christriuirch, is at the Grand Hotel. He is accompanied by Mrs. Huie and Miss Joan Huie. Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Barker, of Wellington, and Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Lewis, of Cambridge, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. A. E. King, postmaster at Paparoa, is dangerously ill. There was a slight improvement in his condition yesterday. Mr. H. L. Russell, of Madison. Wisconsin. United States, returned from a visit to Rotorua yesterday. He is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. W. Mayno. of Sydney, Mr. H. Mitchell, of Wellington, and Mr. A. R. Harris, of Christchurch, are at the Royal Hotel. Mr. H. R. A. Visloux was yesterday admitted as a barrister of the Supreme Court by Mr. Justice Herdman, on the motion of Mr. E. H. Northcroft. Mr. L. Treleaveo. of Christchurch. and Mr. D. Allen, Mr. W. P. Walker, Mr. A. E. Schoeffel, Mr. W. Cuthbejtson 4&d Mr. G. Magnus, of Wellington, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. B. C. Neale, of Nelson, Mr. D. Bone, of Havelock North. Mr. L. M. Holden, of Gisborne, Mr. W. M. Bayly, of Russell, and Mr. J. S. Banks, of Waikino, are ot the Centra,l Hotel.
