A RACE DIVIDED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] GISBORNE, Wednesday. Owing to the number of acceptors in the Maiden Plate (five furlongs), to "bo run at Gisborne on Thursday, exceeding the safety number of starters for the course at this particular point, it has been found necessary to divide the field, and the race will now be decided in two divisions, as follows: First Division. Radiate, Springsure; Ballyfarnon, Jen, Evensong. Lady Flash, Le Autumn, Cool Card. Autonus, Loch Lyon. Miss Esther, Maraetaha, The Heathen, Ngahuri. Second Division.—Miss Willonyx, Cluster, Temperature. Hfthor, Essential. Hohere, Night Gambler. Flying Phnntom, Mon Mint. Bonser, Heatheringteen, Cherry Girl, Wet Winter, Colima.
