MURDER IN A FLAT.
DARLINGHURST TRAGEDY. BELGIAN TO STAND TRIAL. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Heed. 12.5 a.m.) SYDNEY. July 26. An inquest was held to-day concerning the death of Mrs. Ruth Brandt, who was found fatally shot in a flat at Darlinghurst, on July 12. The coroner returned a verdict to the effect that the Belgian, Maurice Strymans, who surrendered to the police after the tragedy, had murdered deceased. Strymans was committed for trial on the capital charge.
